So, my first review was 1 star and didn't get posted, so I did a test with 5 stars and it posted right away ( they are hiding their bad reviews). This thing is complete garbage, the value knob changes number direction sporadically straight out of the box. I tried updating the firmware and still have the same outcome. Tried contacting support a week ago, still no response. I do not recommend this product.

Test

After receiving the unit, I checked it out to make sure everything was functioning. I am not into "beat making" as such but, more for my practicality, finger drumming on recording. I was using my keyboard for that but this dedicated drum machine is what seems to better fill the bill. I haven't put it through it's paces as yet, but I feel assured that it will perform quite adequately for my purposes . . .

Awesome "beat" machine at an affordable price. The use of samples puts it in different class from other small form factor drum or drum/bass machines. Outstanding in combination with my Donner B1.

I connect midi out of the D1 to Midi in of the B1 and use the clock tempo of the d1 to control both. These synths are powerful and easy to use. You could use these live at a gig... in a studio they are a creative force. very inspiring.

Great machine. Will take a bit of time to lean & wish it had “sync” but I can midi into the Donner B1.
