Great starter kit, bought it as a gift and the recipient couldn’t be happier!
Easy to tune, easy to re-string, perfect size!

My son loves this new guitar. He's taken an interest in playing at 14. It seems like a great starter guitar. He loves the matte black finish and plays every day.

I wanted a hobby I can spend time with my two sons doing together. My sons always wanted to play the guitar so this starter kit was perfect for us. To get started the tuner worked perfectly, I verified the tuner with an app I downloaded on my phone.
The look of the guitar was great, I really like the finish on the guitar. I don't have any complaints about the guitar other than having to learn!

The guitar has arrived perfectly, very well protected and has come with all the accessories. To learn how to play guitar it is perfect and it's super beautiful!

I was soooo impressed by the quality of the strings and sound of this guitar. I prefer it to Fender guitars I've played in the past. It has a clear, bright sound that sounds amazing. Can't recommend this enough. Probably my best online purchase ever. My first and probably only guitar.

First guitar, and I’m beating the tar out of it! It’s great and I love it. After a few months it has stabilised and holds its tune for days. I practice on it every day, sometimes for over an hour. Found free lessons on internet which are great. A few times the electronic tuner needs to be reset because it loses a note, but that’s no big deal. It’s really a good guitar for me and is serving me well. Gives me something to work on during COVID-19 isolation.

Guitar has a nice deep sound and the strings aren't as rough on the fingers as most fairly cheap acoustic guitars tend to be. It was fun to tune lemme say lol! All the stuff you see came with it. Woot!

This is the second one we’ve purchased. They are great beginner guitars and come with what they need to start lessons.

This is not your grand-daddy's guitar! I'm a big guy and this dreadnought is bigger than I am. As a newbie I was not prepared for that, but I am in love with the rich sound it brings. Please let me suggest that people do some research with guitars for beginners before writing bad reviews:
1. I learned that size does not matter: sit up straight and hold it properly, you'll get used to it.
2. Practice your finger stretches, you'll get used to it. It's not like typing on a keyboard or playing a piano - those first frets can feel cavernous.
3. Be prepared to check your tuning and adjust your strings regularly for the first few sessions - it's normal for the metal to adjust to the proper tensions. It ships with strings not at full tension; they should remain stable after they settle in.
4. If you come from piano or singing background, expect your brain to explode when you discover how many ways to play "one note" on a guitar. :)
The bundle with the DAG-1CS is great - the gig bag is sturdy with a flapped slot being a perfect size for a pocket folder of sheet music; a selection of picks in different thicknesses to learn which type fits your style; an easy to use tuner that has a wide viewing angle; hex wrench included to make adjustments to the truss rod in the neck. It was shipped securely with adequate padding. There are optional set up steps that help with string height (action) and other small customizing that will make it easier to work with but out-of-the-box it does the job. If this guitar absolutely is "too hard to play" then check out some videos about Guitar Set Up... it will save you some stress and stretching. This Donner guitar is a worthwhile investment that appears sturdy enough to last for some quality playing and learning time.

I looked around and did some research to find the best beginner guitar without spending a ton of money. I narrowed it down to this one and a beginner set from Fender. I decided on this one and boy am I glad I did! It is such a great guitar and a killer value! You get so many accessories and the electric tuner helps tremendously l, especially for a beginner. It’s super easy to tune, it’s so light so it’s easy to hold, and I have already learned several cords. It’s super good quality materials and the bag it came in is very handy!

Well made and sounds good for a not known name like fender, epiphone guitar ect. Came with a lot of extra things nothing came broken guitar is all wood and edging are made out of bone surprised for an inexpensive guitar worth its money.

Can’t go wrong at this price point. So many freebies along with it. Sounds good, looks good, feels good. It’s an acoustic guitar, nothing too special. It works. I’ve been playing guitar 12 years and I got it just for kicks, and have laying around anywhere in my house for when an idea strikes.

Love the quality ... best guitar for camp fire

I love this beauty! The bundle came with everything I needed as a beginner without a clue. I thought I would put my free time to use during quarantine and found this guitar beat all of my expectations!

This is the best bang for your buck when it comes to getting a Guitar quickly and inexpensively. It sounds great, the strings are smooth enough to slide on and you get everything you need like a; tuner, carry case, extra strings and guitar picks. You get this bundle and you can start practicing without back tracking for accessories. The guitar was packaged in a box, in a light zip up case, wrapped in foam roll. I wish it was boxed in Styrofoam. I noticed a hair line crack on the back when I was putting a sticker on it the next day. Can't tell if it was shipping related or is just fragile from the weight of my are resting on it while playing. It still sounds fine and the return process would leave me "Guitarless" for a month so I'm just gonna deal with it. Hard to compete with this bundle

I love your guitars , this is my 3rd one on your brand and will continue to get more from you

Bought this for my 12-yr old niece as her first guitar this past Christmas, and can say that I'm glad I pulled the trigger on it. Went with this due to the fact that it wasn't too expensive for a beginner guitar, and as a brand received pretty good reviews. Wanted to make sure she had a decent guitar so she would be more encouraged to learn and play.

Overall good quality guitar. Worth the money. Some strings did need replaced after a few months though

This acoustic guitar is rather nice for the price. It was packaged very well. The guitar carrying case is amazing as are the accessories. Everything one needs to get started! The guitar itself is rather lightweight yet has great sound. With the carrying case and the guitar being light, it will definitely make it easy to carry along and travel with. The guitar came already strung which is a good perk, not to mention extra strings, score! I am not sure you can find a better bargain out there that will provide great sound quality as well as this one does! I also love the black finish! Worth it!

Don't know what can be said that hasn't already, but for the price it is a decent starter. I bought it for experimental rebuilding. It comes with pretty good accessories, gig bag, tuner, strings, picks, truss rod key, even a capo.
I recommend better strings, and a little neck adjusting for better action.

This ole guitar taught me to sing a love song. All you critics ojt there nothing wrong whatsoever with this. Gave my pal a shot and he can hand pick every note of johnny be goode. Wow he made it ring. Good all round guitar not just for beginners. Of course a talented muician will say its no good but they spend thousands on guitars. Absolutely first class for me easy to plsu and even I sound good and im pretty rubbish. Fingers are bleeding but im carryying on. Cant find the free guitar lesson bit tho. Good job donner fantastic i got a good one.

The Guitar arrived in perfect condition. The packaging was amazing. Frankly I don't know how they can provide a guitar, extra strings, strap, electronic tuner, capo, quality fabric case, for this price. I own 5 guitars now. All other were at least 500 dollars. The machine heads are accurate, there are no buzzing on any of the frets. The guitar sounds excellent. I own a takamine and a Taylor which I purchased used for 1K and there is not much difference in sound. If you are a beginner or know a beginner, this is the guitar for them. Nothing will compare at this price point. For a beginner I would purchase https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002ZO3RO/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . Ernie Ball Earthwood Extra Light 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Set, .010 - .050 . They are easier on a beginners fingers and make playing bar chords easier since it is less tension to hold the chord down.

The box it came in was opened.
Guitar was in perfect condition.
Came with everything shown in pictures.
All I'm really doing to it is changing the strings to see how I'm really gunna like it. So far really good guitar for paying what I paid.

I am just a beginner and this is my first guitar. But I really pleased of this product. I love the apprearance, like wood grain, color etc. And also I love the sound it produces. Daily practice becomes very enjoyable. I don't how will I feel about the other more expansive and more famous brand guitars, but I do love this one. I think that later I will try different sets of strings just to see if they could make this one even better.

You’re aware of the dispute that I filed with PayPal. I didn’t want it because it wasn’t what I ordered and I put it back in the box and taped it up. On your website I typed in ‘electric acoustic’ and what came up on the first row of guitars was the one I purchased. It wasn’t an electric.

Most importantly, the build quality of the guitar, as well as the aesthetic far exceeded my expectations for what I paid for it. It can easily pass for a guitar worth 2, maybe 3 times its actual price. The sound is pleasant, rich and full, a joy to play, and it's become a favorite to reach for in my after-dinner strums. I'd never heard of this Donner brand before, to be honest, looks like a younger company, but I can tell they are committed to quality and wouldn't hesitate buying another guitar from them, with or without the accessories bundle. Highly recommended.

I've been playing guitar for 25 years. This guitar is incredible! It sounds great! Comes with everything you need, including an extra surprise not mentioned on here! I never could tune by ear and the tuner included makes it easy even for beginners.

I received this as a gift but was able to pick it out myself. I did plenty of research and tried to compare apples to oranges. This guitar is great for anyone with zero string time and I highly recommend!

Good beginner guitar, nice sound and tone, ease to play and for the money a great buy with tuner, pics, extra set of strings etc.

Since I’m definitely a 71 year old beginner trying to learn to play the guitar, yes my fingers are sore now but that doesn’t mean I’m not wanting to learn to play any more, and I will keep on trying to get the hang of it and learn to play it, I have this person at church is going to start giving me some lessons as I go.

I would like to first start off by saying that it’s been a little over a year since I purchased this guitar it still works perfectly and also it came with additional accessories. I love this guitar so much. It also comes with the string adjusters and also the tuner definitely would recommend anyone that wants to teach themselves how to play the guitar or is currently taking classes to purchase his guitar it’s great for beginners and also professionals

Honestly im not gonnna sugar coat it but the toner is not really accurate and even if u pick one string loud for the toner it will still show you blank screen but it will do just get a tuner app in ur phone for double check if the tone is really right and the guitar it smells brand new even just opening it feels brand new also and it’s big the sound is really good just hard to press the string it will make ur fingers hurt 10x than any guitar which is understandable because it’s new.the only thing I don’t like is the bag is not padded and it’s easy to scratch that even my hands that gets wet when I’m nervous it leaves mark on the guitar and won’t go away but I like the guitar I’m glad I chose this

It’s a really good guitar for its price. I just started playing guitar and buying this one made me want to buy more stuff from your website!

Before getting to the details of the guitar, I must say that this is a crazy good deal and an easy 5 stars to give for a beginner package. They really put a lot of beginner equipment in with this guitar. I've been playing for about 25 years, and purchased this guitar for my younger brother who wanted to start playing. Before giving it to him, I opened it and played it for a few days before handing it over. Below is what I was able to notice while playing it.
1. Action / Neck: Most importantly, the action wasn't too bad at all. I put a picture of the string height in this review, so please check it out. I didn't tweek the truss rod at all, and the strings sat fairly low right out of the box. I was expecting a much more bowed neck for a guitar at this price point. I measured the neck straightness with a straight edge and it hardly had a bow.
2. Paint: There is a very flat paint on this, which I thought was unique, but I actually like it. The neck slides smoother than a highly lacquered neck. The paint job isn't perfect, but its a $100 beginner guitar.
3. Nut: As expected, it has a plastic nut, but no issues there.
4. Tuners: Tuners seemed fine. They're sturdy and I wound them with a string winder and they turned and held up perfectly fine.
5. Bridge: It looks like there are a few carpentry corrections on mine, but again, no issues with its functionality and what I would expect for a guitar at this price.
6. Accessories:
a. Case: The case is not padded, but will work for any beginner. It has a large pocket on the front which is great to have. Everything worked great on the case, it had no rips or tares.
b. Tuner: The tuner worked great right out of the bag. I like how small it was and easy to store in the gig bag.
c. Spare Strings: I left them in the box, but I'm assuming they're the same that's on the guitar. They appear to be a light string, but I didn't stress them out too much.
d. Strap: the strap looks great, no issues at all with it.
e. Pick Guard: My pictures do not have the pick guard on them. It comes in the accessories bag, and has adhesive on the back. You will have to put it on yourself, but its pretty simple.
All in all, if you're looking to get into playing, I think this is a great option for the price. They really throw in a lot to help you get started. A beginner will easily get a few years out of this guitar. I highly recommend it, and think this is a great value for what you get. I gave it 5 stars.

In my opinion this is a good entry level full size acoustic guitar, the sound is crsip and since, it's a mahagony wood along with solid spruce top, I expect the sound will become more brighter and mellower with aging compared to laminated tops which is what is available in this price range. Cheery on the cake is the accessories that it comes with, I feel overall it makes an awesome deal for someone who wants to learn acoustic guitar. I highly recommend this guitar. Happy learning!
