The piano is beautiful and sounds excellent. We love the Bluetooth and recording features. Excellent piano for the price! The only negative aspect is that the assembly instructions for the piano stand are very vague. More diagrams and step by step instructions would definitely help.

We purchased this on the recommendation of our piano teacher, had never heard of Donner until now. Piano is sturdy, great sound, keys are a nice weight. Having headphones is really handy, allows to have other child practice her instrument in same room at same time. Looks really nice. Set up was quick and easy. Delivery was quick. Very impressed with the sound and feel of this digital piano for our daughter! It doesn't take a lot of space if you are limited for it and love that keyboard is portable! The keyboard feels just like playing a real piano! Price point is great for beginning musicians! Would definitely recommend this product!

My daughter loves her new e-piano a lot! She keeps playing every single day. She just completed her ABRSM grade 8 piano exam and has no access to grand piano for a moment until I got this amazing one. I, as a layman in music, cannot differentiate this with a real one. she feel that it is playing like a real one, with steppers as well. And the different sounds effect and music created have so much fun. She will let the piano plays the fool garden for her too. This piano is really a bargain for us and good alternatives for a real piano, for the purpose of leisure. I recommend this.

The digital piano I received had some hammering defect in most black-white adjacent keys (there was a clicking/pounding sound caused by misaligned hammers when the black key is pressed while the adjacent white key is being held down) - but their customer service was just awesome that a replacement was sent immediately after I emailed them the video of the defect.

Nice keyboard. My suggestions:
1. Make the display at least 2x the existing size.
2. Add more Epiano voices and strings.
3. Delete the "silly" patches.

The keyboard stand was not difficult to assemble, however the directions were poor. It took 2 of us about a half an hour to assemble, but if the directions had been better, that time could have been halved. Sound is great. Overall a very good product.

The piano sounds and feels amazing. You can definitely tell the difference with the weighted keys versus your traditional lower cost electric keyboard; which this replaced. It has a premium feel and is full featured with multiple settings, sounds and instruments. .
It was easy to put together. You have 5 pieces to the stand that are affixed via screws and a couple of bolts, the keyboard, itself is connected via bolts with knobs on them, so you can easily detach and reattach the keyboard to the stand without needing any tools.

It wasn't that hard to put the base together but my dad did complain the entire time he screwed each screw in!! This is extremely nice and well worth the price. The sound is awesome and it's great for a beginner or anyone.

I just received mine yesterday and set it up and started practicing. It sounds great! All the keys and parts arrived well-packaged. I will update this if any problems arise but I am very happy with it! I am NOT a piano expert but I have owned a regular piano previously and this feels great to me. No need to tune! You should know that when assembled properly it sits a few inches away from the wall, so take that into account when deciding on size/space.

Wow! I am loving this piano! I had a very tight spot for a piano, and this one measured exactly the size that I needed. It came in with no dents or dings, and the dimensions that were given were spot on! I assembled it by myself, although I will say that the actually keyboard was quite heavy to lift by myself. The sound quality is amazing! It sounds identical to a grand piano! There are so many features embedded in this piano. I haven��t even come close to using all the features, but for me, there is no need to alter the default sound. It��s perfect! I��m very much a beginner at piano, but i play guitar, and alto saxophone, so I know a good bit about music and sound quality. I have been playing this thing daily since I bought it, and I can��t say how much I love it. I��m having a blast learning. I hope to hang on to this piano for the rest of my life.

Coming from an intermediate-to-advanced pianist who doesn't have room for an upright or grand (and doesn't have time to write a lengthy review), I'm very happy with my purchase. This is better than many of the uprights I played on in school.
1. Piano's solidly built (including the pedals!) despite needing assembly--zero shaking that can be experienced with portable frames
2. Feel of the keys and differential weighting exceeded my expectations--if I were wearing a blindfold I wouldn't know the keys on my piano from those on a real piano
3. Sound is excellent--I've yet to use headphones but I imagine it's even better and the pedals accomplish what they're supposed to
4. Piano was thoughtfully packed and arrived without a scratch

I love this digital piano! I've played piano for 20 years, but had sold my baby grand and wanted to start playing again after my recent retirement. I have played piano for many years and wanted to get back into it after many more years of not playing. This piano is perfect for my needs, which is to just play every now and then on an intermediate level.
The weight is perfect, and sure, it doesn��t have the character of a solid string piano, but it also weighs much less, is much cheaper, has a headphone jack and many cool instruments to mess around with.
The app that comes with it helps you adjust the sound more but most people will not need this. The piano sounds are gorgeous.
So highly recommend this for anyone wanting to get back into piano playing with something that won��t break the bank.

My wife and I are college students and both play the piano. We agree that this Piano feels and looks amazing! It feels just like playing a real grand piano. The compact size works perfectly for our apartment. Very easy to transport, lightweight and easy to bring along with us when we change apartments/houses.
The Speakers are surprisingly loud! The audio jack with headphones is a extremely convenient feature, because we don't want to bug our apartment neighbors all the time with the piano playing. I can even study in the same room as my wife while she is playing the piano with the headphones on. We have played a couple of times past midnight without having to worry about waking our neighbors. The piano bench came with a tear, but it was replaced very quickly and efficiently for free! EASILY 5/5 stars. Amazing product! Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a great sounding piano.

I was hesitant to get a digital piano since I have largely only played on acoustics and have had bad luck with digital pianos before. However, I needed something smaller and easy to move for my apartment. I was really impressed with this digital piano! The sound quality was surprisingly great! The key tension was pretty good, and you can still get expressiveness out of this piano despite it being digital! Very happy with it so far!

The piano is heavy and not easy to assemble without help. It took two strong young men to lift the piano top from the box. Then base assembly took done skill, as well. That is the only negative. I can��t play this piano enough. What a pleasure!! Sound and touch are great.

I am so happy with the purchase of the Donner SE-1. I haven't played in years and was looking for a piano. The standard size piano was too large to fit anywhere in my home. I watched and read reviews and decided on this. The sound is excellent and it feels like I am playing a real piano. The quality is very good. The bench fits me perfect and I couldn't stop playing it for hours after we put it together. My husband and myself had no trouble putting it together. All pieces were included with instructions and fit together perfectly. The box it arrived in was very well packaged. I had to wait for several weeks to receive because of back order but it was well worth it. Haven't learned all the different sounds but look forward to learning them. Right now just enjoying the sweet sound and happily playing these beautiful keys. Hope to teach my granddaughter to play in the future. Thank you Donner.

Very happy with this piano in every way. Assembly was straightforward, aided by some online videos. I could have assembled it by myself, but attaching the keyboard to the base was easier with the help of my wife.

We had an old piano that would not stay tuned, so we decided to replace it with this. I was nervous to make the change to electronic but we've had this piano for about 5 months now and it's great! The only thing is that it came with a piece broken but I was able to use a little wood glue and clamp and it hasn't been a problem. Favorite thing: that the kids can turn down the volume when practicing.

I was originally a bit worried because other reviews had mentioned the SE-1's lower watt speakers might be an issue; but, to my definitely-not-a-professional ears, this piano sounds great (I did learn to play at a young age on my family's acoustic upright piano, so I'm not a complete novice). That said, thus piano was plenty loud at full volume, and sounds very realistic to me.

Sound quality, the ability to play with headphones, and built in features like metronome and recording make this an excellent purchase. Our young son practiced on this while in a location away from home for several weeks and was able to practice in a parents' office with headphones on during meetings.

This was beautiful! I was so hesitant to purchase a piano for my apartment, had to think about size, volume, I have a baby grand at my parents and obviously couldn��t bring that over. This is a beautiful, quality instrument that fits nicely in a small space, even with 88 keys. There are many options to customize the sound, most of which I have not yet explored. The piano book that comes with it has many beautiful selections, and the compatible allows you to follow along via highlighted digital music as the demo is played. This has the sound and feel of a high quality piano with the benefits of smaller size and digital options (and no tuning!) of a keyboard. I love it!

I'm very pleased with this purchase. It arrived in 4 days with very well packaged. I was worried about getting a damaged item due to shipping and packaging or a missing items after reading some of the reviews. However, my worries were for nothing.
The quality of the material is amazing. I love the black finish. It sounds better than my old antique acoustic piano. It comes with sound options which is very easy to manipulate. I would recommend watching the youtube video on this model to assemble since the paper instructions are terrible. With the video is was very easy. You won't regret! Also, I contacted the seller to ask couple questions and they were super helpful and on time getting back to me with answers.

The boxes were very heavy, be warned. I like that it was easy to assemble, even though it took around 45mins and some puzzle solving, given that the completed product is a solid beautiful piano. I love the sound and the sensitivity of the keys to the sound being played. Overall highly recommended for a good quality and reasonable price.

I wanted to start playing piano again after 10 years, this just seemed easier then lugging an old beat up real piano into the house and getting it tuned. I did tons or research and chose the donner se-1, sounds and looks great! Its spendy but is worth it to me, sounds and feels like the real thing. It was very easy to put together but you will need 2 people for sure, everything was packaged nice and secure in a huge box. Now to just get rid of all this cardboard....
