The Donner hush is pretty revolutionary and sounds very good for the price point. It wouldn't replace a Taylor or Martin but it will definitely be used as a convenient travel guitar and I have used it in places I don't want to bring an expensive instrument. The case has nearly everything that you would need and I like that you can fit a jack in there and the bag strap doubles as the guitar strap.
Note that my next comments are comparing this against $k+ guitars. The pick up has impressive bass but lacks clarity in the mids and highs. This isn't clear when plucking but becomes more evident when playing rhythm. The action feels really nice and the fretboard is very easy to navigate. There's very slight buzzing but it hasn't annoyed me enough to fix it.
Just like the original Hush X, the Pro is portable enough to throw into a packed car heading to the cottage without fear of damage or being told by my wife that we don’t have room to take my guitar.
And you have all the great tones for playing acoustic, blues, rock, or metal genres with a twist of the dial. I don’t see any need to get another guitar (though we don’t buy guitars because we need to anyway). But this guitar fixes your real transport needs without compromise.
I am amazed by the product, they are great to travel with, practice at my work station. Just very satisfied with the ease of playing a smaller instrument. I have recommended these guitars to my friends and family! I am looking at purchasing other Donner products. Thanks for the experience.

This piano and bench are absolutely beautiful and really add to our home's decor and comfort.
I love having not only a travel guitar, but everything I need to play well at the cottage, or in a hotel room, is all in the same case. Quality and fully adjustable tones, effects, earphones, and tuner. Plus the same charger the charges my phone works on my guitar pre-amp too. And it’s not a compromise, just because it’s a travel guitar.
I was very pleasantly surprised with this guitar. Cut it on one of the sales, I needed something that I could travel with. That is for about two months now. It has flown on three flights now. I will note that is very hard to fit inside check Luggage, so you have to carry on with you, which means ot replaces your carry on bag. It's easy to bring around. The frame is actually quite good. It comes with everything, nice pair of earbuds and cable straps. The kind of other small things you don't really think of until you want them. I've thought the reviews were overhyping this thing, but I found this is actually quite useful. If you're moving around a lot and wants something you can keep playing on, I recommend it.

Great, compact, travel-friendly instrument. Incredible tone. I enjoy playing this nylon string model. The maintenance is easy, and the bag came with all the accessories needed. Perfect packaging.
Purchase hush I Evo2, sunburst finish. Arrived two days after order online.
Love this guitar, my go to ever since I received it and setting it up, which I only need to adjust truss rod slightly which doesn’t affect intonation, love the neck, very pleased. Only complaint is the sunburst can be more contrast.

Overall, a good guitar for the price.
However the frets are very rough. They need to be properly polished. A better pickguard would be nice. The existing one cheapens the look of the guitar...
I am very happy with my purchase!
I haven’t played in ages and this piano seems like a good option for me as a moderate player with two young ones at home that are just learning what an instrument is and can do. Shipping was fast and good, sound is great and I love the double headset feature.
The only reason I’m giving 4/5 stars are two minor things:
First: the positioning of the straps to hold the piano in place on the stand makes it wobble (see 3rd photo) as the piano is only sitting on the straps now - and I haven’t found a better place for the straps.
Second: the board for my notes is very small (can’t hold two DinA4 pages) and due to the wobbling falls down super easily. I am considering glueing it in place or replacing it with a bigger board or even stand in general.
But aside from these little things I enjoy playing again very much and think I found the perfect solution for our mix of players in the house :)
The bridge intonation was off and action was a bit high for my taste, but a set up and shorter saddle screws fixed most of the issues. This guitar is very well built but I do find the pickups to be microphonic under high gain. That being said, I still enjoy it and would still recommend it.

Iam a professional player for over 30 years doing gig 4to5 times a week for 8/9 month . Now iam on holiday in canada and was going to buy me a ssh guitar after two years of humbucker which I never like them . So I rented a fender squire affinity for practice, and I was going to buy it .until I saw this donner ...the look was stunning , the feature on paper sound good , the price affordable. Now when I got the guitar I was amazed !! Honestly ! I didn't have to do any set up or fret polishing or neck adjustment nothing!! Out of the box was love at first sight and when I played it was like we were waiting to found each other . I didn't even change the strings yet , way better then the squire affinity , I am so so very happy and satisfied !! I would recommend this guitar to anyone who's looking for a hiding gem at affordable price .. hats of to you ppl at donner who really create a fine guitar . With feature found in more expensive guitar . Iam looking forward to go bk home and start my gigging season with my new love !! ❤️👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 This one is a keeper !! Thank you .
The DST-550 is by far the most inexpensive guitar I've ever purchased (including used guitars) and I am absolutely shocked by how good it is. The fretwork is spectacular, the neck is comfortable, and the cream finish with gold pickguard is simply lovely.
I'm a firm believe of "if it sounds good, then it is good" and this guitar sounds like what you'd expect a strat to sound like. In my mind, there is no need for any modifications or anything like that.
Forget what you heard about this being a guitar for beginners as well. I have been playing for over 20 years and have owned and traded away dozens and dozens of guitars in that time span. I will be keeping the DST-550 for sure simply because it was such a smart purchase, you can't go wrong with it.
I am enjoying three guitars, a piano, and two drum kits. The DJP 1000 with the tuner’s replaced with Schaller tuners is the finest guitar I have ever played and I have ten guitars so this one is really special.

This is my first ever guitar, at 74! I really like it. The only negative is the guitar strap positioning that does not allow the guitar to hang properly when you are standing. That needs fixing. I have a lot to learn but it is handy to just pick up and start plucking. The accessories are excellent. The headphones tangle very easily and get caught on the frames, but that is minor. I bought a headphone amplifier once i had the guitar. More to explore. I probably should have bought the Hush I, and ai still might. This was Open Box and great value. I did query Donner about their open box no warranty policy and was told of course we will honour warranty in the event of a defect. My headphone jack died. I contacted Donner and they said our policy is no warranty, either continue using a headphone amp plugged into the ¼” jack or find a guitar repair shop. Lovely! As consumers we do have an expectation and a right that an item we buy, open box or not, will work and if not will be fixed or replaced.
