I was very happy with my purchase. I received my Donner Noise Killer a week ago and have had a few opportunities to test it. My guitar is a 70’s reissue Stratocaster and it doesn’t have a reverse wound center pickup. I also live in an electrically noisy house with high tension wires a few yards from my living (music) room. This combination makes for a very noisy signal. I was not able to use any kind of overdrive or distortion without terrible 60 cycle hum. With a minimum of testing, 10 minutes, I was able to play that Strat at a high gain with a tube screamer without any noise.
My tone was unaffected by the Noise killer.
I have already recommended the Donner Noise Killer to a friend.

The Donner Noise Killer does just that. Kills noise. I'm using high distortion and wanted to cut the noise but not choke out the signal and the NK works perfectly! Great pedal for a great price.

I needed a noise gate to go at the end of my bass signal train and the Noise Killer more than delivers. Simple controls, two gate settings, and nothing you don’t want to get through gets through. Combine that with the great price and what other excuse do you need? Just get one!

The Donner noise killer. The bang for the buck noise gate that you can't go wrong with. Full metal housing. Makes this noise gate an excellent build. Threshold knob gives you full control of how much you desire. And it comes with a toggle switch allowing you to go from soft clip to hard. I've had it for 3 weeks now it's an excellent pedal.

The full volume kill on this happens if you try to go past noon. That makes this useless for all but clean rigs. Unfortunate, but it doesn't match up with any other fate in the market right now. It does work, but only in limited fashion.

Looked up "best noise gate" on google search and this little green noise killer was #1. Now i own 3 of them after owning a decimator GII, boss, hush 2x. The threshold is perfect on it. Cant beat this price.

Though small in stature, the Donner Noise Killer is a great noise suppressor. I'm a metal head and I run it through my Metal Core& Cry Baby From Hell wah pedal& it truly knocks any unwanted feedback away. I've only got it set at -30 on the "soft" setting and that does the job perfectly. The hard& soft settings are a true bonus not to mention it doesn't take up hardly any space on my pedalboard. Great price great pedal

Just getting back into music. Bought the Donner Blues driver and the Tuti Chorus. Was getting a lot of hum and cackle coming through. Just bought the Noise Killer and it does exactly what it's supposed to do. IT also allowed me to do more tuning to the Blues Driver to get a better sound. There's a few more pedals I'll be picking up.

So far this noise gate works really really well. The only time I get significant breakthrough is if I stack a distortion pedal on a fuzz pedal but aside from that I'd say that it works about as well as you could wish it to. The price really added to the overall value as I have seen other gates at least twice the price and a few in excess of a hundred bucks. It's compact, easy to use, and it works. What else can you ask of it?

Can't review something I never received.. still. Bought bogo sale and recieve my free compressor pedal but no noise gate. Donner was very prompt and looked into it and guess it never went out because it was supposed to be together with it. They said they would send a replacement and they did... Of the free compressor pedal AGAIN.. still no noise gate and I am over it and whatever at this point. There pedals are good and reliable for cheap but I don't know what happened here not once but twice and not goin for three.. I'm out

Cuts noise, but with certain guitars it cuts all the sound when set at about 60%. Doesn't seem right. Seems defective.

I have a lot of pedals on my pedalboard, so there is a little noise. When I have to use someone else's PA, this noise gate gives me the ability to make that noise unnoticeable when there is supposed to be silence. Easy to use, hard or soft "knee" at gate activation, and small size. I was able to tuck it away in an unused corner of my board. Good pedal, reasonable price, what more can you ask?

I had a really annoying buzzing in one of my rooms and this fixed it. I even started with a power conditioner which didn't work but this did so it's a really inexpensive tool that everyone should have.

Donner Noise Killer is a Limiter effects mini pedal. Very well built & comes in it's own nice little box. The limiter is pretty simple to use. you just set the threshold to your liking. There is a choice between a Hard & Soft Effect. All of the Donner products that I have purchased have been great! their prices are also very reasonable especially when compared to other pedals on the market.

It's really effective and it works great. It has the possibility to switch hard and soft attack on the noise gate. But the hard hits really hard in my opinion. Aniway it's an amazing pedal and I love it as it is a costant piece in my pedalboard.

worst pedal purchase ever. these positive reviews are either fake or they are from guys who dont use many pedals or high gain equipment at all. this thing is quite literally just a volume pedal. there is absolutely no configuration whatsoever where this thing actually cuts ONLY noise. it simply cuts overall volume giving you the impression its cutting noise until you play and realize its just cut your volume and tone down AS SOON as it actually starts cutting noise noticeably. the low price IS too good to be true. you get what you pay for. there is no way ill be buying any more of these cheap Chinese pieces of crap. just buy the ns-2 and stop messing around.

This pedal is simple to figure out and does exactly what I wanted it to do. I have a couple of noisy dirt pedals that this cleans up perfectly. It doesn't take up much space and it gives a little extra tone shaping ability that can be altered with the hard/soft switching option. Great pedal at an unbeatable price!

This is the most easily adjusting noise gate and the range available it doesn't matter which distortion or other effect used this gate stops any unwanted excess "noise" in an instant absolutely love it and checking out other pedals for my line up the quality is worth far more than the price very very pleased

I’m a big fan of the Donner Noise Killer noise gate pedal. It definitely does the job. I play in a band that does a range of music from modern country to pop and Americana. I’m constantly changing effects for the song. The Donner pedal really dials back the single coil hum.

I recently ordered this mini pedal because I am someone on a limited budget and in search of great tone for less money. I was happily surprised when this pedal arrived and it's fantastic. It comes in a very nice box and is built very well. It is a metal housing and all the jacks, buttons and knobs are well constructed and housed. The best part is that it does EXACTLY what it is supposed to do. When turning the knob it slowly reduces noise and hum that you may get from other pedals before it (or pickups) so when you have your hand off the guitar there's no buzz at all. It also doesn't change your tone at all (which was a huge concern of mine going in). Overall I'd recommend this pedal to anyone. It's a great small pedal that does it's job very well and you don't have to break the bank for it.

This pedal does just what I wanted it to do. By putting it at the end of the chain of pedals, it gets rid of any noise from any of the pedals before it. Many of the B1on sounds contain a lot of hiss or hum. This pedal cleans the sound nicely before it hits the amp. I use for both electric guitar and electric bass and it works well with both.

This little gate realy supprised me, I was getting a terrible hum from my amp and when I hooked this up and turned it on the hum was gone.I am playing a Les Paul with singel coils and it also cleaned up some of the buzz as well. Great product and I would highly recommend.
