I was looking for something simple that would help me reconnect with my love of the instrument but be compact and easy to travel with. Though it met those needs easily my concern was how this would sound when plugged in and played through a more complex sound system than the earplugs and tonal modifiers it came with. So soon after I received it I took it to my friend Dave Swiecicki, a local musician (he is part of Jet Set Satellite), music producer, videographer and artist to get his opinion. From the moment he plugged it in there was a smile that easily matched my own in the attached picture (which was kindly taken by Dave). Great value and great sound as well as fun to play.

Just got my hush x. Had to tighten the truss rod a bit and lower the saddles. The intonation was already on point.
The bridge pickup sounds surprisingly good.

While the first guitar arrived damaged a second guitar was immediately offered and another order was placed. I received it within a week. I have had the guitar for about two weeks now and I am really enjoying it.

I not only bought an X, I bought a Pro as well! Oh my God I actually LOVE these guitars! I brought the Pro to a gig, and it sounded just as good as my Gibson Jumbo! I was taken aback! And the X gives me my absolute favorite "throaty" Strat or Tele sound that I search for in guitars, but don't always find. And the bridge pickup is as rockin' as any Duncan or DiMarzio I have!
Both guitars are solid, the necks feel awesome, I am so glad I bought them both!plus, imagine walking into a gig with 2 gig bags that are about as large as a pool stick bag! It's insane!

I got my Hush x today and I’m very impressed. The guitar is extremely well made and sounds much better than I had hoped for. This may very well become my “go to” electric. The case is extremely well done and it comes with everything you need except for an amplifier. The guitar appears to be very well made and the price is awesome when compared to the other travel guitars available.

Just received mine. Wow. It’s perfect for a travel guitar. I plays great and sounds good too even though the headphone jack! It comes fully loaded… strap, picks, cable, headphones, tuner. I was pleasantly surprised.

Works as promoted. Bought for headphone and audio input features and it didn't disappoint. I can play/practice without disturbing others in the household. Given its design, the upright stand works best for storage. Hang it from the strap and lock it in. Headphones are too big for Sasquatch. They work well but given their weight, they keep falling out of my ears regardless of sizing cups. Already jammed with friends and one already purchased the Hush X for grandkids due to its size. Would recommend for travel and minimal noise purposes.

Did a bit of research on travel guitars and settled on the Donner HUSH-X Headless Electric Guitar.
Ordered it and it arrived quite quickly. Shipping packaging was sufficient but it was the carrying case that impressed me the most.
Assembly was straight forward and tuning seemed easy enough.
I found this product to be excellent overall and highly recommend to the travelling truobadours out there.

I'm 72yrs young, wheelchair bound and decided to take up guitar again. I consider myself a beginner. So, I have 3 full sized guitars (1-acoustic, 1-semi-hollow and 1-Headless). The Hush X caught my eye because of its' features such as being 'headless', has a Zero fret, nice turners, built-in headphones and especially the option to remove the metal sides. It is a molded one-piece guitar. The neck and body are one piece synthetic material with a truss rod. The SS fret work is perfect. The finish and aesthetics are 2nd to none. The neck is very comfortable and slippery. I had to lower the action at the 12th fret but that's to be expected. Stays in tune with original strings. Plays very comfortably in my chair. It comes with a very nice and practical travel bag with all the accessories needed. I "love this guitar" and will buy the Hush X Pro when it comes out! Thanks very much Donner for making such a practical, compact and well made guitar!!

On a one week road biking trip in Puglia, Italy at the moment. Our gear (including the Donner Hush) gets moved to our next destination that we ride to every day. Thoroughly enjoying the Donner Hush. Especially good tones for blues, but very customizable . Great way to relax after a day travelling on the road. Still getting used to the app. Well done guys.

I have a HUSH-X, and it’s great. I travel about one week per month, and being able to spend nights in the hotel practicing instead of getting rusty has been invaluable. Definitely makes me feel more confident at gigs.

Feels good, the kit is good for beginner. Needed to regulate truss rod since strings are a bit high.

If you are wondering, I’m a real owner who bought the guitar and not a paid reviewer. This is actually a great little guitar. Donner really knocked it out of the park once again with this guitar. This is my second Donner guitar, amongst the several other big name brands of guitars that I own and I love it. It is incredibly light, sits comfortably, sounds great and once the action and intonation are setup it plays equally as well as guitars that I own at 4x its price!

I love this guitar. The sound quality is amazing and I am looking forward to taking it on an International trip in January. It's great to play while at home and to practice late at night without disturbing others. Everything you need comes with the package. A beautiful are and battery and comfortable earbud headphones. Perfect for travel. At home I use it with a small practice amp or a et of studio quality headphones which really show off the tone of the guitar. It is beautiful designed with some noice improvements over the Hush-1 which I also play..

Amazing guitar! The action was a little high for my liking but nothing a quick setup couldn't fix. Such a neat concept and super portable. The pickups sound great, the finish is beautiful, the frets are perfect and rounded, the tuners are super accurate and easy to use, and the headphone option is handy for late night jams. Coolest guitar I've ever purchased and it's ruined all other guitars for me. Please make a dual humbucker version!!!
