A really great gift for my musical 4 year old. Some of the more advanced looping functions are fun for us parents.

Good but not great... a firmware update including more features would be welcome.

Excellent fun but not really a unit that can be used with my band

Impressive Portability. The MEDO is super lightweight, making it easy to carry around for spontaneous music sessions. It’s fantastic for musicians on the go, with Bluetooth MIDI connectivity that makes setup quick and hassle-free. Highly recommend!

Perfect for Beginners and Pros! The MEDO offers accessible music creation features that both beginners and seasoned musicians can appreciate. With gesture control, it adds a unique, interactive experience to the music-making process.

I love the gesture-based controls on the MEDO, from tilting to shaking. These add a dynamic layer to music creation, and the response is smooth, allowing intuitive interaction with sounds in fun ways.

Rich Sound Library!!This device includes tons of presets and modes, from Bass to Drum. As a beginner, I found the Donner Play app very intuitive, with tutorials that helped me explore the huge sound library easily. Amazing for creativity.

This unit is a lot of fun. It fits in my hand easily. The controls are easy to understand. The software app is powerful. It really helps you get inspiration without having a bunch of large instruments to lug around.

As a long time piano/keyboard player, I enjoy dabbling in MIDI stuff whenever I have some spare time. But...I don't have a lot of room in my home office for a keyboard anymore so I was hoping that I would find something just like this that would let me dabble so I can make some simple tracks or loops for videos and podcast themes, etc. This little controller more than does the trick, in fact, it's pretty impressive!
I have a Donner guitar and a Donner piano as well and they are great - so I had a certain level of expectation from this too. Happy to say that it more than met every single one. Here are just a few of the things that I love about it:
1. The size is a very obvious advantage. It gives you a rich host of tools in a box that is about the size of two AirPods cases together. It fits in your hand and there's still room left LOL. A small footprint is always nice but in this case, it shows a great use of space and an intuitive, smart design.
2. It is super easy to use. Entirely touch screen, a quick glance of the instructions gives you the basics and you can easily take it from there. It helps if you are used a MIDI controller before, but even if you haven't, you can get going with this thing in a very short time.
3. So many sound options! No idea how large the sound library even is, because I've been playing with this thing steadily since it arrived earlier today and I still haven't heard all the options.
4. The synth and the looper are built in, so you don't need anything else for this to be SUPER useful.
5. Not only is there a ton of sound options, there are a ton of gestures too, so you can bend, slap, slide and much MUCH more on those sounds beyond that.
6. It charges quickly and has a great battery life. Again, it's been on all day since I got it and I'm actively using it...not a blip or hiccup and there's still plenty of juice. Nice!
7. You can capture your OWN sounds in seconds - literally - and use that for sampling as well. It's super easy to add beats to anything pretty much! Had some fun doing that with my cat's meowing LOL
8. The touch function on it is very responsive so it's an easy press to get what you want.
Overall, this is an absolutely fantastic MIDI that is reasonably priced, feature rich, easy to use, and fantastic for both casual users and pros alike. I highly recommend it!!

I picked this up for my husband who is a former DJ. He hasn't been able to do mixes for so many years due to arthritis and getting old. I wanted to find something that he "enjoyed" but without all the hand work that he used to do. Here we have a Bluetooth MIDI controller. I ordered this and now that I have this home, I do want to say this is a really neat concept. My husband absolutely is enjoying this new apparatus. Below, I will outline some of the features that led me to choose this over similar ones on the market.
*Design: MIDI Controller, Portable and Compact Size- Built in looper- Synthesizer- IOS- Android and Windows compatible
*50 different presets for Bass, Chord etc.
*128-bar built in recording - this is a great feature for sure
*3 Auto-Quantization modes
*Advanced parameter editing
All in all, this is a really well designed and constructed bluetooth groove box. Based on a good experience, and how much entertaining this has provided my husband- I would recommend this to other consumers. As far as price point, I feel that this is an accurate price justified by performance and usage. Thanks for reading my review. I hope it was informative and useful. :)

The case is black and smooth in the demo image, but in reality, the case is grayish and rough.
The edges of the case are thick and deep, so when finger drumming, the first pad (bass drum) is hard to tap because it hits the edge.
Unlike the demo image, there is no dividing line separating the 16 pads, so there are many mistouches when playing leads.
The loop sequencer is as easy to use as Orba2. Looping starts at the first bar you touch, and if you keep the performance within the desired bar, the length of the loop is adjusted without fail even if you touch the end of the loop too late.
The app is neither too much nor too little, but there are still so few tones that you may get bored after exploring all the presets.
The tilt and shake gestures on the synths and drums have a more pronounced effect than Orba2.
It would be nice if the app could create its own drum kits, but it can't. Orba2 can.
The sampler is interesting because you can sample only with the main unit. It seems to automatically adjust the pitch to the key of C (often fails to detect the pitch). (It often fails to detect the pitch).
Inconvenient because the sampler can only play C major, no matter what key/scale the song setting is set to.
The lack of available tones is a bottleneck, but it can do the same things as Orba2 at present, so it would be a good alternative depending on the price.

This sound synthesizer is really cool. I can just tap, drag, tap for a long time, tap for a short time. I can slide my fingers and produce the sound I like. When I get the tone right, I immediately record it and transfer it to the software on my tablet or PC, which by the way are free to download. I'm still learning to compose and this device came to help me. I recommend it.
