Great little piece of musical gear. A perfect item for anyone just getting started with electronic music production. Thanks for the great item, and service Donner, Highly recommended.

It is a device that can be easily used by delicate parts and beginners. Above all, it seems to be necessary for people who make music alone.
I am in research now and I want to bring it in once. thank you.

I was curious about this Little Bass Synth at this Price range. It does fullfill my expectations with sound (2 wave shapes square and saw), MIDI in out, sync in out, aux in, headphone 1/8, main out 1/4, usbC, on off switch. And VCO pitch, filter ( cutoff, resonance, depth), saturation ( drive tone, VCA ( envelope, accent), Delay ( level, Time, feedback) and master volume. Plus an ARP mode, a 16 steps sequencer, octave -+ and more. I am glad I bought it.

Can't beat it for vaule and quality

interresting gear. nice sound.

Fast delivery and a fun and easy to learn bass synth.

The B1 attached to the D1 via Midi is the most fun I've had for a small amount of money. Both inexpensive synths are powerful music making machines that work hand in hand for live performance or studio recording.

Hello, using with FL Studio. Could you please direct me to a "how to" with that DAW? When I have it connected via USB and Audio output to my focusrite scarlett solo interface, recording seems to take some Play/start inputs or something from the B1 which causes heavy stuttering and creating (many) new channels with empty audio inputs. It completely freezes my DAW.

This is an incredible unit easy to use and program plus the sounds can be made to be like 60 and 70 synt sound
Marek F.
Will buy another one.

Tons of bang for your buck! True to the original sound with an incredibly intuitive interface. Feels good and sturdy, soft keys feel great, knobs are solid, no wobbles. Support is awesome, these guys are on the forums interacting with people and updating firmware based on user feedback! More than I can say for the big brands!
For this price and functionality I'm almost considering another one!
Mike M.
Great little synth. Very intuitive and easy to play. Lots of great resources online if you need help. Always great support as well from Donner.
Alex D.
Lovely device, wish the knobs were controlled by CC commands but it's not a big deal
Paul R.
Fun and easy to use... would recommend this instrument
to anyone curious.

The best 303 I’ve ever owned and the best priced one as well. I’ve own XOXBOX and recently I bought Behringer TD-3 and I thought I won’t need another one but the low price of Donner B1 was too attractive to pass it up so I got it without much expectations and it was the best synth purchase I have ever made.
The low price does not represent the sound which is very very good and the effects although mono really work great and add that special touch to the sound and the finish and the quality of the build is excellent but the best feature is the sequencer which is very easy to use and being able to move forward and back and edit any note without going through the whole sequence each time is absolutely best way of creating patters on 303 plus you will also have features that are not available in any other 303 recreation.
Every one needs a 303 and this is the one to get!

Incredibly versatile bass synth/sequencer for a steal of a deal .

The B1 is my first bass and sequencer and I've had a lot of fun with it, this past month! It definitely supplies a lot of bang for the buck, and has an impressive variety of sound manipulation.
When notes are played slowly however, the pitch often sounds to be a bit off, regardless that the VCO/pitch is "locked" in the detent position(?)
I don't use a DAW, or other software and am wondering if there is a fix to this issue?
Also, the difficulty in reading the button functions is quite annoying. This could be resolved in future versions by back lighting the text(?)
I haven't delved too deeply into creating sequences yet, but I am looking forward to learning more about this fun device.

Super fun. I jam with a Roland t8 and spend hours making music. Fun little acid box. Makes the great sounds of the TB303 work a easy to use interface. The update song mode is great

Bought this because I have always been interested in synthesiers but did not know anything about them. Well now I'm hooked because this little machine is awesome . I was a little afraid at first but by the second day I just kept trying different things and different beats per minute with delays and wow this little box is very kool . I recommend to anyone who wants to get started with snyth's it's not expensive but it sounds really good plus it's fun, you'll be supprised at how many sounds you can get out of this. It is well made and looks great , just buy one .

I am quite happy with my purchase of the Donner B1 bass synth. It is compact, lightweight and easy to use. A good and long overdue addition to my digital audio workstation.
Gregory Brown
I have one. It plays well with others, it’s fun to play around with and for the price, why would you NOT have one!

Easy to use and learn, sounds and effects are great also.
Very well packaged for shipping.
Downloading software and updates could be a bit easier....but very satisfied overall.
Yohaan K.
absolutely love this thing. My first analogue synth ever and couldn't be happier
Bruce E.
Cool tool. Nice little sequencer
Randall W.
Picked up this affordable synth and I'm very impressed by the build quality and the filter sounds. Easy to operate and lots of extras
Robin T.
Fun machine, provides good sounding bass lines at an affordable price. Happy with my purchase.
Eric M.
Nicer little sequencer. Relatively easy to operate. Well built. Good price, fast shipping.

What can I say ... already have two TD-303 clones (Behringer TD-3, Roland TB-03) and must enthusiastically state that the Donner Bass Syn (B1) definitely does not have to hide there - quite the opposite - it has its very own character, which I would not want to miss after the first hours. The sequencer is a dream, the ARP function a very fine additional gift and the delay just great. I'm already looking forward to the next synthesizers that Donner will bring to the market :-). Greetings! Hubert
Marc P.
It's very easy to program and it sounds great.-love the acid sound and bouncy bass it has. I have it syncing up-with a few other modules and it's perfect. I-also use it in reason 11 as an external midi.
ronald l.
great tool very nice with a very good price

My son is happy with it.
LINUXDANCER
Extremely good!

I bought it for a friend's birthday, and he absolutely adores it.
Derek Murrell
Very good sequencer, full-featured and reasonably priced.
Thomas Williams
This synth is great on its own, and the low price is just a bonus. With the addition of an arpeggiator, as well as delay and distortion, it's easier to program a synth like the TB-303. The preloaded patterns will keep you going, but once you understand how everything works, you'll want to make your own user patterns, which you can store in your synth.

A very good product. Fast delivery, well packaged!

BASS! Great sound and the distortion and delay take it over the top. Sync in? Yeah. Full MIDI specs, yep!
I’m betting an analogue drum machine is next. Take my money, Donner!
Michael D.
This is a fun little synth. It doesn’t try to be a direct TB-303 clone, but it’s sonically much closer to a TB-303 than some of the more expensive clones. The Arp and Ratchet functions are handy and the delay and overdrive are usable.
David L.
It is easier to figure out than some other 303 clones (not that any of them are very challenging). It has some features that are unique so it's worth getting one even if you have other brands.
Chip
best analog synth in it's price range
Daniel N.
This is quite a handy piece of equipment for not a lot of money - build quality and sound quality is very good - nothing in the price range is better and that includes the Behringer equivalent.
Bardin B.
Great first crack at a synth, I hope they stay at it. I'd love to see support for modding for USB power!
Anna S.
Luckily I got one from Canada! It is all out of stock.
Mike
It's fantastic and well worth the money.
Jackson D.
The product arrived quickly, was fully functional, and was portable!
